Hexyz Force is a single player turn-based role-playing game (RPG) for PlayStation Portable (PSP) that allows players to take up the fight on both sides of a grand conflict that will physically and philosophically decide the fate of an engaging fantasy world. The game features two playable characters, each with their own backstories, attributes and abilities, 3-character party combat with AI companions, 50 hours of play time and 20 minutes of anime cutscenes. Story Hexyz Force is set in a world split between light and dark and follows the exploits of the Hexyz, heroes who have inherited the power of the gods. Long ago, Norvia, the Goddess of Creation, descended from the heavens. Using the Holy Vessel, a divine chalice charged with all Force (the spiritual energy in the universe,) she created life, and for a while, all was good. Then, Delgaia, the god of Destruction, brought about a great calamity known as the Gods' Remorse, intending to return all Force to the Holy Vessel. But the Delgaia was defeated and sealed away deep within the earth. Norvia then made a covenant to restore Berge to its former beauty on the condition that when the Hour of Judgment came to pass, the world would have to decide its ultimate path: creation or destruction. The time for decisions has come. Gameplay Hexyz Force is a single player, turn-based RPG. Featuring a diverse and immersive world that has been optimized for the PSP, players take on the role of creator and destroyer as Cecilia Armaclite, a young free spirited cleric attached to the Temple of Palfina in Lustrous Berge, and Levant von Schweiter who is an elite knight in the Rosenbaum Empire in Dark Berge. Gameplay features a combination of combat and character dialog/interaction that together decide the outcome of the two character stories that the game tells. These stories unfold in parallel trajectories, but intersect at various points throughout the game. Party combat revolves around martial skills and weapons-based attacks and combos. The power of these are boosted by the use of the Hexyz Charge, which is also available to enemies to power attacks of their own. An additional attack, the Forced Burst, is also powered by a built up charge, which can be monitored via the Force Gauge on-screen. New equipment and upgrades can be acquired by consulting companion characters Ralu or Ulu away from combat, depending on which main character you are playing as. An additional bonus for players looking for seamless adventure includes virtually zero load times between events via the option to install the game from UMD onto a memory stick. Games Reviews - Super Collapse! 3

This game is basically the same one by GameHouse/RealPlayer that is on Yahoo! Games. The only difference is that there is no Quest mode on-line at Yahoo. I would suggest going to Super Collapse on Yahoo Games to test run it if you're not sure if you'll like this game.

This is not the hardest game I've ever played by a long shot, but then I use Collapse as sort of a break from the vicious hack-and-slash and shoot-em-ups sometimes. It's also not quite the same as a game like Space Invaders though the idea is similar: get rid of things before they destroy you/end the game.

It only took me one day of playing to unlock the remainder of the game "levels" and it even includes some strange items like a Casino game. I didn't see any value in that one, but everything else I tried was loads of fun. And that's the key here, fun! The price on Amazon really can't be beat either (unless you buy it used).

The only reason I give this game a 4 and not a 5 is because it's a little difficult to move the pointer exactly where you want quickly enough. It's certainly not the same as using a mouse. The "joystick" on the PSP is too sensitive so I use the arrow pads on the left (right, left, up, and down). I tend to forget that clicking once in a direction only moves my pointer by one block and sometimes the level of blocks has moved up so I am no longer where I can make blocks go away by clicking. This was a little frustrating. I think I'll get used to it with time, though.

Games Reviews - Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2

A great first person shooter for the PSP. Ghost Recon is a lot better than SOCOM, but isnt as good as Syphon Filter. The graphics arent nearly as good as Syphon Filters. Its a really easy game to play, and easy to eliminate the guerillas. There is no blood, but that doesn't stop the game from being really exiting. There are only 10 "missions" in campaign mode but there are still tons levels. I beat the game on medium mode in 3 days. If you are looking for a fun, tactical, easy, first person shooter this is the game for you.
